About Fort Collins Academy of Bartending

The Fort Collins Academy of Bartending was founded in 2012 by Gina Maez. Gina is an expert in the field with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has owned several business since the founding of the Academy. Gina was a professional bartender in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked in extremely high volume locations with equally high levels of professionalism and skill. The Fort Collins Academy of Bartending is a family-owned business that brings the heart of the industry right to the heart Northern Colorado.

Dakota and Sierra Montez were both graduates of the Academy. After the Academy, Dakota and Sierra went on to bartend in a multitude of venues; high volume nightclubs, craft cocktail bars, music venues, events, corporate, you name it. They have a combined 15 years of experience in the industry, and after many years of perfecting their craft, they came back to where it all started - the Academy. Dakota and Sierra are also experts in the field and ready to teach the new generation of bartenders. They are passionate about the art of the profession, and embody the values the Academy was built on.
